SUAVAGE

I formed SAUVAGE in 1996, with a bassist named Chance.

We started off in a tiny single garage across the street from Echo Park - playing on such crappy equipment that we often battered into the late night with bandaged hands.

I didn’t much mind or even notice the pain, though.

When I'm playing music with Chance, it's as if I were under a spell and my drum kit takes on its own personality, anyway.

When we lock in together, it’s like we’re entranced natives whose only purpose in life is to please the Gods of Feverish Rhythm.

If they're happy, we're happy....so we try to make them. and the audience, as happy as we can.

I'm also the singer, and write our lyrics.

And I would sell T-shirts in the lobby, too, if we sold t-shirts, and the clubs play in had lobbies.
